A special tribute took place during the Evans - Lakeside game that included the Virginia Tech marching band. Everyone recalls the tragedy and loss that followed when a lone gunman killed 33 on the campus of Virginia Tech in April of 2007. Ryan Clark, a member of the VT Marching Virginians was one of the victims. Clark, a CSRA native and Lakeside high graduate was memorialized during the Evans - Lakeside game.
